Job Description

The Senior Consultant II represents insureds and the Company in defending bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases. This role involves preparing for and conducting hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for and conduct settlements and dispositive proceedings (e.g., mediations, arbitrations)
  • Prepare for and attend court appearances (e.g., case management conferences, hearings)
  • Investigate and pursue subrogation litigation as appropriate
  • Prepare for, try, and arbitrate cases; draft motions in limine and summary documents
  • Review new files, documentary evidence, approve initial pleadings, propound discovery, and develop strategy
  • Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials, including expert witnesses
  • Communicate with clients regarding their cases and answer questions
  • Conduct depositions and examinations under oath; prepare summary documents
  • Keep claim business partners updated on case status and strategy
Education
  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Juris Doctor (Required)
Experience
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory duties.

Skills & Compensation

Compensation ranges from $66,800 to $120,650 annually, based on experience and qualifications. The candidate will be required to undergo a background check. Allstate does not sponsor employment-based visas for this role.
