This trial counsel role focuses on Nursing Home & Medical Neglect cases. We are looking for a confident attorney comfortable managing full caseloads from discovery to verdict. You will have an exceptional team of legal experts supporting your efforts to achieve outstanding case outcomes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to hone your courtroom and trial skills, with back-end and pre-litigation work handled by colleagues specializing in those areas.

What You Will Do

• Represent clients involved in nursing home negligence, elder abuse, and medical neglect cases.
• Draft and file litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Develop case theories, coordinate with experts, and craft persuasive trial presentations.
• Lead depositions, jury selection, opening/closing statements, and direct/cross examinations.
• Manage in-court logistics and support teams.
• Provide compassionate guidance through complex medical and legal processes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
• At least three years of trial experience; experience in nursing home neglect, elder abuse, or personal injury is a plus.
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
