Duties

Represent clients in cases involving nursing home abuse, elder neglect, and medical malpractice

Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and memoranda

Develop case strategies and coordinate with expert witnesses for trial preparation

Lead courtroom activities such as depositions, jury selection, opening/closing arguments, and witness examinations

Manage trial logistics and coordinate with in-house support teams

Provide empathetic and informed legal guidance to clients navigating complex medical and legal issues

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Active Bar license in South Carolina (in good standing)

Minimum of 3 years of courtroom and trial experience

Strong background in nursing home neglect, elder abuse, or personal injury law is a plus

Proven ability to independently manage litigation from discovery through verdict

Education

Active membership in good standing with the South Carolina Bar
