Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a seasoned Senior Trial Attorney for its California-based Lemon Law practice, representing consumers against car manufacturers and dealers. The role offers significant trial responsibilities with first-chair opportunities in jury and bench trials.

Ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of litigation experience, a proven trial record, and the ability to coordinate with outside counsel and diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of litigation and trial experience.
• Proven track record with multiple jury verdicts and first-chair trial experience.
• Experience in arbitration, coordinated proceedings, and MDL preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, timekeeping software, and client file management.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop trial strategy and take first chair responsibility in trials.
• Conduct complex legal research and oversee case prosecution.
• Interface with outside counsel on behalf of the firm and its clients.
• Draft and argue motions and oppositions on complex legal issues.
• Conduct depositions of witnesses, experts, and key corporate representatives.
• Collaborate on policy improvements and client communication strategies.
• Ensure timely resolution of legal issues as they arise.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
