A law firm located in Denver, CO, is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Civil Trial Litigation Attorney to join its legal team through a remote-first work model. This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in high-stakes courtroom environments and has a strong background in personal injury law. The selected candidate will actively litigate cases from intake through verdict, with opportunities for mentorship, development, and leadership involvement.

Duties:

1. Compose legal pleadings, including complaints, motions, and responsive documents
2. Manage discovery processes, including drafting, reviewing, and opposing discovery-related motions
3. Conduct and defend depositions of both lay and expert witnesses
4. Appear for hearings and motion arguments in court and via remote platforms
5. Prepare pre-trial documents and trial exhibits
6. Participate in all phases of trial proceedings
7. Identify and pursue critical evidence to build strong case files
8. Draft persuasive mediation summaries and participate in settlement negotiations
9. Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients
10. Support the coordination and guidance of paralegals and legal support staff
11. Engage in routine training sessions to enhance trial and litigation proficiency

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, particularly in personal injury law
2. Active licensure and good standing with the Colorado Bar
3. Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral argument skills
4. Strong organizational discipline and time management abilities
5. Demonstrated perseverance and analytical problem-solving skills
6. Experience with civil litigation in Washington State is considered a plus

Education:
