Jobot, a large contingency-based law firm with 20+ locations across Texas, seeks a Texas-licensed Trial Attorney for Dallas or Plano to focus exclusively on trial work. You will serve as lead trial counsel and mentor junior attorneys in courtroom advocacy and strategy.

Responsibilities include crafting trial strategy, opening statements, witness examinations, and closing arguments while collaborating with litigation teams to prepare cases for trial.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas.
• 15–20 first-chair or substantial trial experiences to verdict.
• Proven success in jury and bench trials.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Strong ability to teach, mentor, and develop less-experienced attorneys.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Texas-licensed Trial Attorney to join our litigation team. This is a unique role designed for a seasoned courtroom advocate whose primary responsibility is trying cases. Unlike traditional litigation positions, this role is focused exclusively on trial work and courtroom strategy. The successful candidate will serve as lead trial counsel while mentoring and training associate attorneys to become effective trial lawyers. This position does not involve discovery, depositions, mediations, or routine pretrial litigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trial strategy from case assignment through verdict.

• Mentor and train associate attorneys in courtroom advocacy, trial preparation, and presentation skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $180,000 – $210,000 per year
