Job summary

Community Healthcare of Texas is seeking a Triage Team Assistant to provide administrative support to the Triage department. Community Healthcare of Texas is currently recruiting for a Triage Team Assistant.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide administrative support to the Triage department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Supports the role of the Triage RN by attending to non-medical phone calls consisting of DME needs, staff ETAs, and scheduling.
  • Collaborates with the RN triage and call teams to assist with scheduling visits to field staff.
  • Responds to DME needs by scheduling deliveries and pickups for all patients.
  • Attends to inquiries received via fax, email, and phone.
  • Communicates directly with individuals and families to provide information about eligibility requirements, application details, payment methods, and applicants' legal rights during intake assessment.
  • Provide effective communication to patients, staff members, other health care professionals, and referral sources.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
