Bedford Commons OBGYN seeks a Triage Registered Nurse to balance telephone triage, direct patient care, and clinical coordination in a busy OB‑GYN practice in New Hampshire.

The RN will administer medications, IV hydration, non‑stress testing, and infertility care, while documenting in the EMR and protecting patient privacy. This full‑time role offers weekday hours and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the State of New Hampshire (NH).
• BSN is preferred.

About the Role

We are looking for a Triage Registered Nurse (RN) who is confident in clinical decision-making, enjoys connecting with patients, and can balance telephone triage, direct patient care, and clinical coordination in a busy OB‑GYN practice.

The Triage Registered Nurse provides clinical support to patients and healthcare providers through telephone triage, patient education and follow‑up, medication administration, IV hydration, non‑stress testing, infertility care, and other nursing services.

This is a hands‑on role that combines clinical care with patient communication and care coordination. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently while knowing when to involve a provider.

What You’ll Do

Patient Triage & Communication

• Respond to patient calls and assess clinical needs within the scope of nursing practice.
• Provide appropriate clinical guidance, education, and follow‑up based on established protocols and provider direction.
• Communicate patient concerns, symptoms, and clinical findings to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Provide patient education related to treatment, medications, follow‑up, and care instructions.
• Conduct telephone follow‑up for designated patients as directed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

Clinical Care & Procedures

• Administer medications as prescribed and within the RN's scope of practice.
• Administer and monitor IV hydration treatments.
• Perform non‑stress testing according to established clinical protocols.
• Assist with urodynamic testing when indicated.
• Provide clinical assistance as needed and directed by providers.
• Process semen specimens for intrauterine insemination (IUI) according to established procedures.
• Accurately document assessments, patient communications, procedures, and interventions in the EMR.

Infertility Care & On-Call Support

• Provide clinical support and education to infertility patients.
• Coordinate infertility‑related care as directed by healthcare providers.
• Respond to patient calls and clinical needs during assigned on‑call periods.
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday infertility on‑call coverage, as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of infertility‑related communications, care, and follow‑up.

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire. BSN preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to recognize when provider escalation is needed.
• Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
• Strong organizational and follow‑through skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast‑paced clinical environment with multiple priorities and interruptions.
• Commitment to patient privacy, safety, and compassionate care.

Schedule & Locations

• Full‑time, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:30 PM 4days per week or 7:30 AM–4:30 PM 5days per week.
• Start and end times may vary slightly depending on office location and operational needs.
• Position may rotate between our Bedford and Londonderry locations.
• Weekend and holiday on‑call coverage for infertility patients may be required as scheduled.
