Unity Hospice is seeking a Triage Registered Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin to respond to and triage patient contacts, perform nursing assessments, and provide safe telephone advice and care instructions. The role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and exceptional service.
The RN must hold a Wisconsin license and have 2+ years of nursing experience, with hospice experience preferred.

The Triage Registered Nurse is responsible for responding to and triaging telephone calls and other contacts related to patient needs. This includes conducting patient assessments and providing safe and effective telephone advice, care instructions, and direction to the appropriate level of care. The Triage Registered Nurse works collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional customer service and achieve high-quality patient care standards.
Schedule: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., four days per week, primarily working as the Triage RN, with the flexibility to work some shifts in the community as needed. Weekend coverage is required every fourth weekend from 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. in Triage, which may be worked from home. The position also includes an on-call rotation of approximately 10–15 shifts per year and coverage for approximately 2–3 holidays per year.
