Job summary

L&S Mechanical in Richardson, TX seeks a Warehouse Associate to support loading/unloading, stock pulling, and inventory tasks. You will work with the team, subcontractors, and production staff to ensure accuracy and timely material movement.

Responsibilities include receiving, verifying, stocking plumbing, electrical, and HVAC inventory, order picking, cycle counts, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Physical endurance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC construction industry.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to perform physical demands: lift heavy objects (>50 lbs), work in varying temperatures and weather, climb ladders, stand/walk long periods.
• Competent to take direction with a positive attitude and complete work on schedule.
• Attention to detail and teamwork mentality.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and stock plumbing, electrical, and HVAC inventory.
• Order picking.
• Provide accurate inventory counts via cycle counts or full inventory.
• Follow established processes and maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard.
• Follow safety guidelines and work with industry experts to expand tri-trade knowledge.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Enter project data into corporate databases.
• Communicate proactively with management regarding issues.
