Job summary

Tri County School Corp is seeking a Full-Time Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept environment for students, staff, and visitors in alignment with the district handbook.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, securing the building daily, supporting evening events, maintaining safety data sheets, and reporting maintenance concerns; a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

• Assist with snow removal and salting when needed.
• Repair desks, chairs, and lockers as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by administration.

The purpose of the Full-Time Custodian position is to maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept environment for students, staff, and visitors, per the standards and guidelines outlined in the Tri-County Schools Support Staff Handbook.

Qualifications:

• A minimum requirement for a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous custodial experience is preferred, but not required.

Desired Skills:

• Strong communication skills, strong work ethic, physical strength, friendly, ability to adapt, and maintain confidentiality.
• Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. Lift 10‑40 pounds frequently, 40‑75 pounds occasionally, and more than 75 pounds infrequently.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
