The ideal candidate has a CDL Class A or B, a clean driving record, and experience with tri-axle or heavy dump trucks. You will work with a hardworking crew in varied weather conditions and adhere to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
• Experience operating tri-axle or heavy dump trucks.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Familiarity with CT roadways and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate tri-axle dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and construction debris to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members for efficient material delivery and dumping
• Navigate job sites and public roadways safely, adhering to all traffic and DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and vehicle documentation
• Assist with basic on-site tasks as needed to support construction operations
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to fleet management
