Job summary

Hybrid Apparel is seeking a Graphic Designer for its Mens division in Cypress, CA. The role focuses on creating on-trend artwork for our specialty business and collaborating with the Art Director to develop line sheets and CAD updates.

We require 5+ years in apparel graphic design, strong typography, freehand skills, and a solid grasp of screen-printing processes. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position in Cypress.

Qualifications

• BA or equivalent in Graphic Design.
• 5+ years of graphic experience in the apparel industry in Mens.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficient with administrative/company programs outside of Adobe.
• Passion for design and a good understanding of market trends.
• Strong freehand skills.
• Strong sense of typography and composition.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of the screen-printing process, techniques, and basic garment.
• Must be able to demonstrate a pulse of what is trending at retail.

Responsibilities

• Create on trend and customer appropriate artwork under direction of the Art Director.
• Conduct trend research to identify the latest and upcoming trends.
• Present artwork and be able to communicate the thought process behind it.
• Create line sheets and CAD updates.
