Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews, or completion of applicable skills assessments.
• Must have First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of trees, arboricultural techniques, and trimming near energized conductors.
• Extensive travel required, greater than 50% of the time, with physical demands including climbing and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Prune, remove, and fell trees, limbs, and shrubs away from power lines.
• Load manageable limbs and logs onto vehicles and equipment.
• Operate climbing equipment and safety gear to perform trimming and removal tasks.
• Fell trees or spars and split into pieces for debris management.
• Drive and operate assigned vehicles and equipment; perform routine maintenance.
