Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to provide clearance for utility lines. You will operate and service tools, load debris, and help maintain safe work areas. A valid driver's license is required; pre-employment screenings apply.

This is a Full-Time, non-exempt role based in Virginia. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient tree maintenance under varying weather conditions, with the potential for growth in a field leading

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required for entry-level; training provided.
• Ability to climb, walk on uneven surfaces, and handle physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Trims, tops, and reshapes trees to clear powerlines.
• Operates and maintains tools and equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into woodchipper.
• Maintains safety and communicates with team and public as needed.
• Pre-employment screenings may be required.
