Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks entry-level to skilled Tree Trimmer-442. The role involves trimming and removing trees to clear power lines, climbing with safety gear, and operating various tools. On-the-job training is provided and great outdoors work is expected in all weather.

Full-time with competitive hourly pay based on experience; benefits include health insurance and retirement plans. Applicants may be required to pass drug screen and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous tree trimming or climbing experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain Driver's License when required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather and heights.
• Pre-Screen: drug screen, background and MVR checks may be required.
• Travel for storm emergencies may be required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees by climbing or ground work using saws and equipment.
• Uses wedges, sledges, and chain saws to fell trees and trim trunks.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate work with crew and customers.
• Promotes good customer relations and explains work to property owners.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Maintains safety around work areas and traffic control.
• Assists in training new employees.
