Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees, operate specialized equipment, and maintain safe, efficient work sites. The role requires climbing and working from ladders, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Entry-level to intermediate experience is considered, with a focus on physical endurance and coordination. The job offers full-time, non-exempt status and an hourly pay structure, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Ensure safe operation of tools, trucks, and equipment.
