Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber. The role trims and removes trees, operates equipment, and handles debris processing while maintaining safety protocols. This is a full-time, non-exempt position paid hourly.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, capable of overhead work and climbing, and possess good hand-eye coordination. No prior experience required, though entry-level applicants are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Repair minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintain and service tools and equipment.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks as assigned.
• Keep trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
