Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Kailua, Hawaii seeks a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and perform related duties in a physically demanding outdoor role. This full-time, non-exempt position offers an hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role requires staying physically active, climbing, and operating multiple tools while coordinating with teams to safeguard the public. Pre-employment checks may apply, and a driver’s license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders or at various heights under demanding conditions.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
