Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Hawaii is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt role. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service tools, and climb ladders to work at various heights while keeping sites safe and orderly.

The position offers hourly pay with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and advancement. A CDL license is preferred; pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to climb and work from ladders and at varying heights.
• Able to operate and service tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue and assist in training new employees.
