Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Akron, OH. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and servicing tools, and loading debris for processing. You will cooperate with crews to maintain safety and efficiency on job sites.

The position requires physical fitness, the ability to work at heights, and strong coordination. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with a competitive hourly pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders and at heights.
• Must maintain good hand–eye coordination and balance during operations.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Set up barriers and signs to protect workers and the public.
• Assist in training new employees and maintain tool/vehicle readiness.
