Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Tennessee is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming and removal, operate tools, and support crew in a safety‑driven environment. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay and benefits.

You will work outdoors, on ladders, and with heavy equipment, while ensuring public safety and following company standards. Entry-level applicants welcomed; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb ladders and work from heights under variable weather.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks.
