Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Ohio to perform tree trimming and removal, operate tools, and support crew safety in varying conditions. This full-time, non-exempt role involves loading debris, driving, and coordinating with customers.

Ideal candidates are 18+, able to climb and work at heights, and prepared for pre-employment checks. A high school diploma is preferred; experience is a plus. Benefits include health, retirement, EAP, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights.
• Capable of working in demanding conditions and handling equipment.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
• Assists in training new employees.
