Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Indiana seeks a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and support crew safety. You will work on varied terrain, climb ladders, and handle heavy debris while following safety protocols and traffic control guidelines.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, with competitive hourly pay and a benefits package including health, retirement, and EAP. Previous experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are considered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
