Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Bloomington, Indiana is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt role. You will trim and remove trees and branches, operate tools and equipment, and manage debris while staying aware of safety procedures on working sites.

Qualifications include being at least 18, the ability to work at heights, and good hand-eye coordination. A High School Diploma is preferred; no prior experience required for entry level.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders or at various heights in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits debris; loads/unloads trucks.
• Relays signals and directs traffic as needed at worksites.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping on trucks and job sites.
• Assists in training new employees.
