Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a full‑time Trimmer/Climber in Independence, MO. You will trim and remove trees, operate tools, and load and unload materials in outdoor environments.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to work at heights, and safe operation of equipment. Training and company benefits are provided, including standard health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand–eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
