Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Independence, MO. This full-time, non-exempt position offers competitive hourly pay and substantial benefits.

You will trim and remove trees, operate specialized equipment, and ensure work areas and tools are maintained safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include driving or operating trucks, assisting in training new staff, and coordinating with customers and public safety crews.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, or trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into smaller pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent regrowth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Assists in maintaining equipment and vehicles.
