Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our field teams. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and maintaining tools, and ensuring work zones are safe and efficient.

Classic duties include loading gear, feeding debris to woodchippers, and assisting in training new staff. This on-site, full-time role requires physical stamina, the ability to work at heights, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb, and work from ladders or at varying heights on uneven surfaces.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into pieces.
• Sprays areas to prevent regrowth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains tools and equipment in good condition.
• Sets up barriers and signals to protect workers and the public.
