Our team of tree trimmers and climbers is on the lookout for bold individuals who love to work in all-weather elements. Wind, rain, sunshine, or snow - we tackle them all! Our crews trim, top, and reshape trees to remove low-hanging, dead, and excess branches, providing clearance for utility powerlines.

Job Type:

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Trims and/or removes trees using ladders, safety belts, climbing lines, or powered trimmer lift trucks.
• Uses wedges, sledges, and chain saws for felling trees or trimming trunks.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer and public relations.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
• Performs other related work as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Willing to work long hours and overtime during emergencies.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Pre-Screen:

• Employees may be required to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

License & Certifications:

• Ability to obtain a Driver's License or Commercial Driver’s License when required.
• Ability to obtain Herbicide license when required.

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to report and/or travel for storm emergencies.

Physical Requirements:

• RARE (less than 10%): Sitting, Kneeling, Crawling.
• OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): Stooping, Squatting, Climbing On/Off Truck.
• FREQUENT (up to 66%): Carrying, Pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): Standing, Gripping, Seeing Distant.

Safety:

• Works in all temperatures and will be exposed to nature.
• Works near energized parts or equipment.
• Works in traffic.
• Exposed to hazards of working near power equipment, traffic, and falling limbs.
