Job summary

Zielies Tree Service Inc. is hiring Tree Care Professionals in Wisconsin to help maintain powerline rights-of-way and support vegetation management. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork while offering growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

The position is fulltime with a starting wage between $25 and $39 per hour. Candidates will join a dedicated team, work four 10-hour days for a long weekend, and receive union and safety training benefits to support professional

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim trees using industry best practices
• Operate wedges, sledges, and chainsaws for cutting and logs processing
• Apply herbicides to prevent growth as mapped
• Load/unload materials and feed debris to woodchipper as needed
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep work area clean
• Support safety on site and report hazards
• Contribute to daily safe-work routines
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors

Essential Functions

• Cut, and/or trims using various industry best management practices.
• Uses wedges, sledges, and chain saws in felling trees or trimmed trunks and in cutting and splitting logs into manageable pieces.
• Herbicide application to prevent further growth as indicated on maps.
• Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Utilize best management practices to safeguards other employees and public from jobsite hazards in and around work area.
• Inspect tools, truck, and other work equipment. Request repair or replacement equipment, when necessary. Maintains good housekeeping on truck and at work locations.
• Commitment to work safe daily.
• Perform other related work, as assigned by superiors.

STARTING PACKAGE BETWEEN $25 - 39/hr.
