Job summary

Zielies Tree Service Inc. is seeking Tree Care Professionals in Wisconsin. The role offers a starting package between $26.43 and $39.67 per hour with a full-time schedule of four ten-hour days, plus overtime opportunities where available.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim trees using industry best management practices.
• Use wedges, sledges, and chain saws for felling and trimming trees and splitting logs.
• Apply herbicide to prevent further growth as indicated on maps.
• Load and unload logs, stumps, brush, and debris; feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Follow best management practices to keep jobsite hazards away from employees and the public.
• Inspect tools and equipment; request repairs or replacements when needed; maintain housekeeping.

Essential Functions

• Cut, and/or trims using various industry best management practices.
• Uses wedges, sledges, and chain saws in felling trees or trimmed trunks and in cutting and splitting logs into manageable pieces.
• Herbicide application to prevent further growth as indicated on maps.
• Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Utilize best management practices to safeguards other employees and public from jobsite hazards in and around work area.
• Inspect tools, truck, and other work equipment. Request repair or replacement equipment, when necessary. Maintains good housekeeping on truck and at work locations.
• Commitment to work safe daily.
• Perform other related work, as assigned by superiors.

STARTING PACKAGE BETWEEN $26.43 - 39.67/hr.
