The General Tree Care Team is the core of our operations, working together to deliver high-quality tree care that maintains and promotes the health of our clients' landscapes. Team members work outdoors at beautiful properties, applying their expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety to ensure landscape health.

The Tree Service Crew Lead/Foreman role offers a leadership opportunity for individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities and have approval from local management. Key knowledge areas include: TCIA Crew Leader Training, Crew and Personal Safety, hazard recognition, and leadership in crew settings.

This position offers up to $35/hr depending on experience, plus paid PTO, benefits, and a 401K plan.

Typical Day

Working collaboratively on a Tree Care crew, members perform pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks. Safety and customer service are priorities as team members operate equipment and perform assigned tasks.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with pruning large shade trees and ornamentals
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species and understand their characteristics
• Climb without spurs
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards
• Chainsaw and equipment operation skills
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks)
• Understanding of safety policies, hazard tree identification, and proper pruning techniques
• Competence with climbing gear and tools, including ropes, saddles, and ladders
• Knowledge of ANSI pruning and safety standards

Essential Requirements

• 2-5 years of tree care/tree climbing experience
• Leadership experience in guiding a tree care team
• Desire to work outdoors
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; CDL A/B preferred or willingness to obtain
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
