Job summary

Hana Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Tree Maintenance Worker to assist in maintaining the grounds for our clients. The position offers a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays and vacation.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, based in Hawaii. Responsibilities include assisting arborists, operating ground equipment, and ensuring safe work zones. Candidates must be physically fit with good communication skills and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain base access.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Experience operating power-driven grounds equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to walk, run, lift, bend, reach, stand, sit, push.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Operation of ground equipment including chipper, blowers, and chain-saws to meet contract requirements.
• Operate powered grounds maintenance equipment.
• Fix and maintain equipment.
• Follow safety practices and set up proper safety exclusion zones.

Hana Enterprises is seeking candidates experienced in performing Tree Maintenance Worker to assist us in maintaining the grounds of our customer. Job type: Full Time (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities

Assisting arborists in collecting and piling branches, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring hazard-free work areas. You should be able to work with a variety of crew members. To be successful as a Tree Maintenance Worker, you should be physically strong and able to work in extreme weather conditions. Outstanding Tree Maintenance Workers should be able to carry out instructions efficiently and complete all maintenance tasks to the highest standard.

• Operation of all ground equipment to include Chipper, Blowers, Chain-saws and other equipment as necessary, to accomplish contract requirements.


• Operates powered grounds maintenance equipment


• Fixes and maintains equipment


• Uses established safety practices and sets up proper safety exclusion zones

Requirements
