Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment and remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. The role includes planning, directing crew tasks, and ensuring safety and quality in performance.

A valid driver license is required and pre-employment screenings may apply. Responsibilities cover operating gasoline and hydraulic tools, using power saws and chipper, and coordinating work with property owners to gain access.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment such as gasoline tools, power saws, chippers, and sprayers.
• Cleans up and disposes of all debris.
• Uses hand-tools including axes and pruners as required.
• Promotes safe work practices and public relations.
• Obtains permissions to trim or remove trees from property.
• Trains new personnel.
• Keeps informed on equipment and procedures.
