Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries in Grapevine, TX is seeking a skilled Soil Injection Technician to deliver professional tree and soil care services for residential and commercial properties. The role focuses on root-zone treatments, soil injections, fertilization, soil amendments, and tree well rejuvenation.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, follow label directions and safety procedures, maintain equipment, and document treatments.

Qualifications

BS in Agriculture or Horticulture or equivalent experience.
Qualified Applicator License (QAL) preferred or ability to obtain within 60–90 days.
Experience in tree care or plant health care preferred.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

Perform soil injections and root-zone treatments to improve tree health.
Apply fertilizers, nutrients, soil amendments, and tree health products according to label.
Evaluate soil and tree wells for compaction, drainage, and condition.
Rejuvenate tree wells and apply fresh mulch as needed.
Inspect trees for nutrient deficiencies, stress, pests, or other concerns.
Communicate recommendations to customers and provide excellent service.
Follow safety procedures and company policies; maintain equipment.
Document treatments and products applied in company systems.
Work independently on scheduled service appointments.
