We are seeking a skilled Tree Climber/Trimmer to perform tree trimming, clearing, and removal along electric power lines and rights of way. The role involves climbing trees to reach branches interfering with electric lines, using climbing equipment, chainsaws, pruners, brush chippers, and possibly operating aerial lift devices (bucket trucks).
Requirements include at least 6 months of verifiable experience in utility or residential tree clearance, a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and beneficial but not mandatory pesticide licensing. Knowledge of chainsaw safety, roping, and rigging techniques is essential.
The work schedule consists of four 10-hour days, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with mandatory overtime and emergency storm duty as needed. Pay varies based on skills and experience.
