Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Tree Trimmer is to perform tree trimming, clearing, and removal along electric power lines and rights of way. This includes climbing trees to reach branches interfering with electric lines, using climbing equipment, and operating tools such as chainsaws, pruners, brush chippers, and possibly aerial lift devices like bucket trucks. Candidates should have at least 6 months of verifiable experience in utility or residential tree clearance. A valid driver’s license or CDL is preferred, and a pesticide license is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Schedule

Four 10-hour days, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with mandatory overtime and emergency storm duty as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Work Area

Travel throughout various states including PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV is required. Flexibility for travel is necessary due to short-notice work location changes.
