Job summary

LandGraphics is seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our team in California. You will perform pruning, trimming, and removals while maintaining safety and customer service excellence. This role is ideal for an experienced climber who enjoys outdoor work and delivering quality results.

Responsibilities include rigging, operating chainsaws and other equipment, inspecting trees for hazards, and keeping gear in safe condition. CDL and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional tree climbing experience preferred.
• Experience pruning and removals.
• Knowledge of climbing techniques, rigging, and tree care equipment.
• Valid California Driver's License required; CDL is a plus.
• ISA Arborist or Tree Worker certification is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other approved climbing equipment.
• Perform tree pruning, trimming, thinning, and removals.
• Safely rig and lower tree sections using proper rigging techniques.
• Operate chainsaws, pole saws, woodchippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment.
• Inspect trees for hazards, disease, and structural concerns.
• Maintain climbing gear, tools, and equipment in safe working conditions.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company safety policies and participate in required safety training.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers.
