Job summary

LandGraphics is seeking a skilled Tree Climber to perform pruning, trimming, removals, and other tree care services while upholding safety, quality, and customer service standards. This outdoor role suits an experienced climber who takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

The job requires climbing with proper rigging, operating chainsaws and equipment, and maintaining gear in safe condition. Preference for 2+ years of experience, California DL, and ISA certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional tree climbing experience preferred.
• Experience performing tree pruning and removals.
• Knowledge of climbing techniques, rigging, and tree care equipment.
• Ability to safely operate chainsaws and other tree care equipment.
• Valid California Driver's License required; CDL is a plus.
• ISA Arborist or Tree Worker certification is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other approved climbing equipment.
• Perform tree pruning, trimming, thinning, and removals.
• Safely rig and lower tree sections using proper rigging techniques.
• Operate chainsaws, pole saws, woodchippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment.
• Inspect trees for hazards, disease, and structural concerns.
• Maintain climbing gear, tools, and equipment in safe working conditions.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company safety policies and participate in required safety training.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb trees and work at varying heights.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
