Job summary

Gabriel Group is seeking a Tree Climber to support Foremen in daily tree care tasks, including climbing, pruning, removal, and site cleanup. You will follow safety practices and pruning techniques to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires at least 2 years of tree work, valid driver's license, and strong communication. Expect a full-time schedule with potential overtime and weekly pay in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tree trimming, climbing, or related formal training.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong understanding of climbing techniques, pruning methods, and safe tree removal practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using rope and saddle systems to perform pruning and maintenance operations.
• Prune and/or remove large trees and shrubs using industry-approved methods.
• Operate and drive tree care equipment such as aerial lifts, spray trucks, and tow-behind chippers.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites following each project.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Follow all company safety guidelines, including Employee Safety Requirements.
