Job summary

Sperber Landscape Companies in Hawaii is seeking a Tree Care Climber to support the Foreman with daily tree care operations, including climbing, pruning, and removal. You will follow safety guidelines, operate equipment, and maintain clean job sites while delivering high-quality service to clients.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to climb using rope and saddle, and good communication skills to coordinate with team and supervisors in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tree trimming, climbing, or related training.
• Strong understanding of climbing techniques, pruning methods, and safe removal practices.
• Basic math for measurements.
• English literacy and customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using rope and saddle systems for pruning and maintenance.
• Prune or remove large trees and shrubs using approved methods.
• Operate and drive tree care equipment such as aerial lifts, spray trucks, tow-behind chippers.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Provide professional customer service and represent the company.
• Follow safety guidelines including Employee Safety Requirements.
• Perform first aid, CPR, and aerial rescue as needed.
• Support Foreman and assist crew; work overtime as required.
