Job summary

SavATree LLC is seeking a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team in Illinois. You will climb, prune, remove, and cable brace trees while safely operating chainsaws and bucket trucks to deliver top‑quality care for clients.

Outdoors roles in the community offer ongoing training and career growth, with a handle on safety standards and teamwork. A valid U.S. driver's license is required, class C (CDL a plus).

Qualifications

• Experience with pruning large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species and their characteristics.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment.
• Experience operating aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• A valid U.S. driver’s license class C (CDL a plus).
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Climb and prune large shade trees and ornamentals using proper practices.
• Perform removals, cable bracing, and other tree care techniques.
• Safely operate chainsaws, equipment, and aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• Work as part of a team to deliver high‑quality service to clients.
• Apply industry safety standards in all aspects of tree care.
