Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber on our General Tree Care Team to help preserve clients' landscapes. You will work outdoors on beautiful properties, perform climbing and pruning duties using safe techniques, and contribute to high-quality tree care.

This physically active role requires teamwork, attention to safety, a valid US driver's license, and authorization to work in the US; you will develop climbing skills and learn proper pruning, species identification, and chainsaw operation.

Qualifications

• A desire to work outdoors in a physically active role.
• A valid U.S. driver's license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in: Tree climbing (without spurs); Proper pruning techniques; Identifying native and introduced tree and shrub species; Tree care safety standards; Chainsaw and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a crew to provide high-quality tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing
• Safely operating climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment
• Applying proper pruning techniques and tree care practices
• Following safety procedures at all times
• Delivering excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards
