Job summary

Wolf Tree, Inc. in Dalton, GA is hiring for on-site tree care specialists who perform pruning, removal, and support services for utility providers.

You will climb using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems, cut and trim trees, and remove hazards while following safety protocols. The role requires a love of outdoor work, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to complete Davey Tree orientation and safety courses on hire.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors and physical work.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL-A or CDL-B with airbrake endorsement preferred.
• Line clearance/tree work experience preferred.
• Pesticide licenses/certificates may be required by state law.
• ISA/TCIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Perform pruning and removal for major electric utilities.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged limbs.
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other structures.
• Maintain, prepare, and operate tools and equipment safely.
• Work as part of a crew with foreperson and ground crew.
• Growth potential depends on performance and opportunities.
