Job summary

ABC Home and Commercial is seeking a tree climber to join our team serving Austin and surrounding areas. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of tree climbing/trimming with saddle and rope, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years tree climbing/trimming experience with saddle and rope.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license (issued at least five years ago).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete tree work with a crew and meet customer expectations and service contracts.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for the workday and load them into the truck/trailer.
• Remove dead or live trees and prune per route sheet to maintain health and appearance.
• Work from ground, canopy, or truck-mounted lift as required; climb and rig as needed.
• Haul away non-hazardous waste and ensure cleanup of work area.
• Operate equipment like tub grinders, wood chippers, and chainsaws safely.
