Job summary

ABC Home & Commercial Services is seeking a Tree Climber to join our team in the Austin area. The role requires climbing/trimming with saddle and rope, driving, and delivering quality service for our customers.

You will work with a crew on contracts, prepare gear, and ensure safety and efficiency in tree care tasks. We offer competitive pay with training, benefits, and opportunities through our extensive local network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years tree climbing/trimming experience with saddle and rope.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with at least 5 years since issue date.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines within your route.

Responsibilities

• Complete tree work with a crew and align with customer expectations and service contracts.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for the workday and load them in the truck/trailer.
• Remove specified dead or live trees and prune as per the contract.
• Prune to maintain health and appearance of trees/shrubs as per route sheet.
• Complete all contracted work, potentially from ground, in tree canopy, or using equipment.
• Haul away non-hazardous waste to landfill or disposal sites.
• Learn to safely use all equipment for debris refining (chippers, grinders, saws).
• On-site, reduce waste by chipping or grinding and prepare for disposal.
• Clean up work area and assist with debris separation/removal.
• Willingness to work Saturdays when needed; maintain professional conduct.
