Job summary

Arbor Masters in Missouri is seeking a Tree Climber to join our field team. You will participate in all aspects of tree work, including pruning and removals, and operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks and chippers.

The role requires 2-3 years of rope and saddle climbing experience, knowledge of knots, and the ability to work at heights over 10 feet. CDL preferred but not required; top market compensation and a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years rope and saddle climbing experience, including knots knowledge.
• CDL class A or B with airbrake endorsement is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, brush trucks, claw trucks, chippers, pole saws, pruning saws, pole pruners, power pole saws and chainsaws.
• Repair, sharpen, and maintain equipment and tools.
• Perform basic felling and rigging, including aerial rigging over obstacles.
• Load, maintain, and fuel equipment; ensure inspection readiness.
• Conduct job briefings and assist in crew set-up with safety PPE.
• Conduct tree risk assessments and site walk-throughs; communicate with homeowners.
• Communicate effectively with crew members; assist in debris cleanup.
