Arbor Masters in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Tree Climber to join our family-owned team. You will perform pruning, removals, and rigging using rope and saddle systems to safely manage canopies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 2-3 years rope and saddle climbing experience.
• Valid driver’s license; class C required; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to work at heights above 10 feet and lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience operating bucket or claw trucks preferred.
• Knowledge of knots and rigging techniques.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy and power equipment including bucket and claw trucks.
• Repair, sharpen, and maintain equipment and tools.
• Perform basic tree felling, rigging, and aerial operations.
• Inspect equipment, fuel, fluids, and ensure safety PPE.
• Brief crew, set up work zones, and communicate with homeowners.
• Conduct tree risk and site assessments and post-job walk-throughs.
• Assist in debris cleanup and site restoration.
