Qualifications

• 2–3 years rope and saddle climbing experience including knots for roping and rigging
• Basic knowledge of tree pruning and removal techniques
• Ability to work at heights above 10 feet
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs regularly

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks and clippers
• Repair, sharpen and maintain equipment and tools
• Perform basic felling and rigging with aerial rigging
• Load, maintain and fuel trucks; ensure equipment is in good condition
• Assist in job zoning and safety PPE prep
• Conduct tree risk and site assessments; communicate with homeowners
• Assist in debris cleanup at job completion
