The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Tree Climber to lead our field crew. This role involves performing tree pruning and removals, working safely in the tree canopy, and supporting the crew with rigging and ground operations as needed. You'll be climbing with a saw, using ropes and saddle, and operating from a bucket when required.

• Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removals using climbing techniques and equipment.
• Assess tree health and safety during work and communicate observations with crew leaders or supervisors.
• Operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment.
• Implement safe work practices in compliance with ANSI and OSHA standards.
• Assist in ground operations, including debris cleanup and equipment maintenance, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when representing Arborist Enterprises.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Tree Climber or in a similar role required.
• Proficiency in climbing with ropes, harnesses, and other equipment.
• Knowledge of tree species, pruning techniques, and industry safety standards.
• Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
• ISA Certified Arborist or willingness to obtain certification (a plus).
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
